Positive Reviews

Excellent central location off Puerta del Sol

The situation of this hotel is perfect for guests wanting to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of Madrid's historic centre and ideal for shopping. It is right next to the Puerta del Sol and its metro station, which means accessibility is simple too. The Plaza Mayor is just a couple of minutes away, whilst travellers are spoilt for choice for places to eat out with numerous shops, cafes and bars filling the streets around.

Great for budget conscious and solo travellers

This accommodation is geared up for travellers on a tight budget and especially those travelling by themselves. Whilst guests admit that the rooms are basic, they feel they are comfortable enough, well equipped and offer exceptional value for money. Individual travellers seem to be even more delighted to find such reasonably priced single rooms.

Dedicated staff

The management of the hotel are seen to be very hardworking and committed. Guests find them charming and friendly, doing all they can to help despite language barriers.

Negative Reviews

More bathrooms needed

Sharing bathrooms is a price that single travellers have to pay for having their own private room. Whilst many find this concept acceptable, they are not very satisfied having to share just one bathroom between the whole floor, especially when this means waiting.

Lots of stairs to climb

The hotel is based on the third floor of the building. Guests warn that with no lift available, travellers need to be quite fit and mobile to clamber up several flights of stairs every time they return to the hotel.

A bit of a squeeze

Guests, particularly those in single rooms, point out that the size of their room is extremely small without a lot of space to move around.
