The Tinkov house is an authentic Bulgarian home from 1821 under cultural heritage protection. It is located in the old part of the town of Lovech - the architectural and historical reservation Varosha. Our family has fully renovated and refurbished the house in 2008 and in 2019 in order to offer our guests modern days comfort, combined with privacy, quietness and romantic flair. Our guest house resides in the middle of Lovech, just a few minutes far from the pedestrian square, shops, cafes, and taverns. We offer our guests three air-conditioned rooms with separate WC/bathrooms: - one twin room (two single beds) in the ground floor - one double room (one double bed) in the upper floor - one family suite (two double beds, one single bed) in the upper floor Besides that, you can use the shared kitchen, the balcony, the winter- and the summer gardens. No matter if you carry a backpack or a suitcase, here you will find all you need: air conditioning, cable TV, free wi-fi, a kitchen, free parking lots. All this and much more, accompanied by the beautiful outlook at the ancient Lovech castle and the Levski monument. Please, also take into account that the rooms haven't been very spacious at the time our house was built but we have introduced as much as possible comfort into it. The streets of Varosha are narrow, meandering, and sometimes unexpectedly in front of them appears a wall or an entrance door. The houses in the area are small, as in most cases they are surrounded by high stone fences. The yards are arranged in levels, where ivy, wild geranium, lilac, and roses are planted. You will be literally surrounded by historical and natural states and of course - tasty food, delicious wine, and friendly people. Don`t forget to schedule enough time for the local must-sees. You can walk to the covered bridge, the Vasil Levski monument and museum, or to the Lovech fortress. You may also take a stroll along the Osam river on the Bash-bunar alley. We would be glad to assist you also for trips by car to the Prohodna cave or the Krushuna waterfalls. The 3-star boutique complex "Dedovite kashti" welcomes guests in the restored houses - monuments. Here you will have the opportunity to experience the old Bulgarian customs and culture. In the tavern, you can taste typical Bulgarian dishes made from household products. The complex is located in the beautiful village of Staro Stefanovo which is only 5 kilometers away from the busy road Sofia - Varna. On the road to Apriltsi, the village has been able to retain its atmosphere and specific microclimate. In 1982, the village is declared as an architectural reserve. About 96 houses in the village have been declared monuments of culture. Indiscriminately perched on the mountain heights, our preserved traditional houses are an unique wealth, revealing moment of the architectural appearance not only in the village, but in the entire Balkan region. Existing buildings are mostly from the period of the first years after the Liberation (1880-1890) and even more there is a significant number of older houses (1830-1870).
