About The Stafford London

Tucked away on a quiet street just off Piccadilly, The Stafford has a regal air about it, with a smart red-brick exterior and opulent interior design.

The luxurious rooms are classic, Edwardian-style, but beyond the fine furniture and lavish fabrics, there are subtle mod cons, like flat-screen TVs and coffee machines.

As well as a well-appointed fitness centre and full concierge services, The Stafford stands out from the crowd with a historic, and very exclusive, wine cellar.

Guests can enjoy fine dining with a Mediterranean twist in The Lyttleton restaurant, while handcrafted cocktails are served in the American Bar.

The Stafford is right next to Green Park, and it’s surrounded by royalty, with St. James’s Palace less than 100-metres away, and Buckingham Palace just across the park.

Positive Reviews

Top-notch British hospitality.

With just enough pomp and ceremony to make every arrival feel like an event, but with a warm and friendly approach, the service at The Stafford is impeccable. Guests love the welcome they receive and the personal attention throughout.

Excellent location in the heart of London.

If you want to live the London high life, you can’t do much better than this exclusive corner of Mayfair. With Bond Street shopping on the doorstep and royal palaces next door, you’ll be in seventh heaven.

Fabulous dining and drinking.

As well as excellent dining options in The Lyttleton restaurant, visitors to The Stafford can also make the most of its high-class afternoon tea. It’s the ultimate London experience, and the perfect pick-me-up.

Negative Reviews

London luxury comes with a hefty price tag.

There’s no sweetening this one, the price for Mayfair luxury is seriously high. Most guests seem to think it’s worth the money, so for the London trip of a lifetime, it could be worth splashing out.

Not all rooms are exceptionally spacious.

While The Stafford does have some very grand suites, its classic rooms are not as spacious, and some guests report that they feel a little cramped, particularly if you have lots of luggage in tow. For central London, the room size is not unusual.

An Edwardian building with old British plumbing.

Some guests have reported minor issues with water pressure and plumbing in their bathrooms. It’s an old, Edwardian building with a plumbing system to match; however, it mostly seems to function well.
