A Warm Welcome

The reception staff were found to make up for any failings in service by their helpful and friendly attitude. The availability of free on site parking is a great bonus for guests. Overall the hotel represents very good value for London.

Renovation Has Put On the Style

Stylish rooms mean that guests feel well catered for, with very comfortable beds and pillows and a marvellous shower in a very clean good sized bathroom.

Catering for Your Pleasure

Dinner and breakfast taken in the hotel were both “beautiful” A wedding reception held in the hotel was very much enjoyed.

Negative Reviews

Technical Glitches

Paying for an upgrade was a mistake with no docking station, sofa or soft drinks, and the room was located above a noisy function suite. Then the TV set alarms on that floor went off in the middle of the night. Another guest experienced false alarms too, and the door key not working, but more seriously had major problems twice with payments made not being acknowledged and deposits not being refunded in a timely manner. Noise from parties and sometimes from rowdy guests were found to be intrusive. Temperature control in the guest room was difficult.

Not the Happiest of Conferences

The meeting room did not smell good, and the charge for the projector, which with the screen was not ready for use, struck a discordant note.

Over-Expensive and Over-Cooked

The charge for the continental breakfast was felt to be extortionate. Guests found his meal to be overcooked and not good, while another found his scrambled eggs to be seriously undercooked. The bar was not open for much of the time, guests were told to go into the town for a drink One couple was surcharged for being ten minutes late in vacating their room.
