Positive Reviews

Handy central location off the promenade

The centre of Llandudno was a lovely place to be, according to most reviewers. This guest house's location just off the Victorian promenade and near the beach and pier was conveniently a short walk from the town centre for shopping and dining options. Those wishing to explore the picturesque Great Orme liked the way they were near the cable car and tramway for easy access to the summit.

Hearty breakfast and welcoming hosts

The friendly and welcoming hosts reportedly ensured guests were well looked after and fostered a relaxed atmosphere at this property. There was praise from diners for the hearty and well-cooked breakfast. The dog-friendly policy was a bonus for visitors in town with their pet pooches.

Clean and comfy rooms with views

Guests were largely impressed with the views from their rooms; some of those who experienced the Irish Sea views described them as amazing. The rooms won praise from plenty of travellers for being clean and comfortable with a homely feel.

Negative Reviews

Some rooms had downsides

Light sleepers sometimes noted that certain rooms were exposed to early morning light which wasn't always fully excluded by the thin curtains. Other critics claimed some rooms were a little cramped. There were also claims from some quarters that parts of the accommodation would benefit from additional modernization to address maintenance issues like aging mattresses, old TVs and dated decor.

Mixed reports on free Wi-Fi

Although reviewers welcomed the availability of free Wi-Fi, there were occasional reports that the network was unreliable at times in certain areas of the building.

Pet hair detected

One disadvantage of the pet-friendly policy for some critics was that pet hair cropped up in certain parts of the premises.
