Positive Reviews

Clean rooms.

Spotlessly clean + let’s face it, that’s the first stumbling block of any establishment.

Exceeds expectations.

Clean towels and bed linen, fabulous showers; basic but comfortable. A real treat!

Car parking.

Limited spaces but, nevertheless, they exist for the benefit of guests.

Negative Reviews

Don’t like Chinese cuisine?.

Depending upon tastes and budgets, the Metropole Hotel and Spa is virtually next door and Jules Restaurant + Wine Bar is a 5 minute walk away.

Flashes of noise.

Thin curtains mean that light comes streaming in to the rooms. Add to this some night traffic noise and a few boisterous Welsh ‘boyoes’ and you might have a problem sleeping.

Lack of breakfast choice.

Full English/Welsh is of great quality – but some people want other choices. Coffee + tea is tepid and the serving method isn’t ideal. Addressing these features would improve the breakfast experience beyond measure.
