About Lindos Panorama

Situated in a fantastic central position overlooking the acropolis, Lindos Panorama offers basic, but comfortable, accommodation to visitors looking to be near the heart of the action.

The studio apartments are simply furnished and quite spacious. Each features en-suite bathroom, fully equipped little kitchenette, TV, in-room safe, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning.

There are no real public facilities on site, but guests do have access to a pool at a sister property in the area.

There are no dining facilities on-site, but there is a poolside café at the sister property. Otherwise, guests who are not self catering can ask the host for good dining recommendations.

Lindos Panorama are on the edge of the town, with the centre being a five minute walk away. The beach is a little further down a steep hill. Archaeology buffs will enjoy a trip to Rhodes Town, 35 miles to the north.

Positive Reviews

Good as a budget option

While guests did have some issues with the studios, they conceded that Lindos was typically a very expensive area, and that their room rate was in fact quite reasonable. They concluded that they had received good value for money.

Terrific views over the acropolis and the sea

It was the incredible views from the property that most seemed to delight guests. They describe the views over the whitewashed town, the acropolis and the Mediterranean like a scene from an old-style postcard.

Very helpful host and staff

Again and again the guests singled out the host, George, as a top host who really seemed to have the welfare of his guests at heart. He was said to lead from the front by being very hands-on, and welcoming to his guests.

Negative Reviews

Very tricky walk into Lindos town centre

This was perhaps the most serious point raised by guests. The say that while the studios may well be right on the edge of Lindos, that did not mean that it was easy to get to the centre of town. The walk was described as down very steep and tricky paths.

Pool access far from the studios

While there is no pool on-site, guests were grateful that they had pool access at another property. The only problem was that it was described as some distance away, and guest almost felt they were going to a distant public pool. They ended up not making much use of it.

Some poor outlooks

While some of the studios have lovely views toward the sea, the ones that don't were said to have especially poor views -perhaps of a whitewashed wall or something similar. In any event, the contrast with the rooms with views only made it worse.
