Positive Reviews

Good quality rooms

The rooms at the Vineyard attract plenty of praise. The accommodation has been finished to such a high standard that the thought this building dates back to the 13th-century is difficult to believe. Guests particularly love the private terrace.

Great food and atmosphere

Guests tend to rate the food served in the pub highly, with many also finding the menus reasonably priced. The friendly and attentive staff and local clientele help to create a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere while you enjoy your meal.

Top rated location

Reviews suggest that guests find this inn is well located. Information is available for area walks, many of which are nearby. Plus, you can be in Royal Tunbridge Wells in around 15 minutes, assuming you have your own transport in place.

Negative Reviews

No breakfast during the week

Guests mention the lack of breakfast on weekdays, although concede that it is very good over the weekend. There are a few dining options in the village, which is about a ten-minute walk from the property.

Wi-Fi may prove troublesome

While not every guest encounters problems with the Wi-Fi, a fair number describe it as poor, with several guests found they were unable to connect at all. Others were able to stream content with just a little buffering.

May find rooms small

Although guests are impressed with the standard of the rooms, some do mention that they found the accommodation a little more compact than they expected. Plus, a number of guests mention that they found the spiral staircases tricky to navigate.
