Positive Reviews

Great pet friendly policy

A number of guests were very pleased that the campground had a pet friendly policy. It seems that it was hard for them to find a suitable park that accepted their best friend, and they were happy with the facilities and wide open spaces that made for a great stay with their dogs.

Very spacious grounds

Guests were clearly very impressed with the amount of space available at the site. They did not feel as if they were being crammed in, and reported that there was more than enough space, both between the individual sites and cabins as well as a lot of extra space, ideal for the children to play and explore.

Engaged and hands on new owners

Starting in late 2015, guests reported that it seemed as if the park had changed ownership and management. The guests described the new owners as very friendly and approachable, and always willing to engage guests and try to correct any issues that may have arisen.

Negative Reviews

Very uncomfortable beds

Guests staying in the cabins were typically unhappy with the comfort of the beds. On occasion the complaint was that the mattresses were either too hard or too soft, but more typically guests mentioned that they were just old and sagged in the middle, making for a bit of an uncomfortable night.

A little run down

The general feeling among guests was that the site looked a little run down. It has recently changed hands and in guests minds the new owners still have a way to go get the property looking as it should.

Must pay for bedding

It was mentioned that there was an extra charge to cabin guests if they needed to use the park's bedding, something they were clearly not expecting.
