Negative Reviews

Central Location, surrounding nightlife

With the surrounding bars, restaurants and nightclubs, it is understandable that there will be some noise once the sun goes down Unfortunately, the clientele of those establishments are not affiliated with the hotel itself, and can thus not be controlled by the staff If guest would like rooms away from the noise, it is recommended that they make such requests either when booking, or on arrival.

Nighttime antics need patrolling

At the Travelodge Kingston Upon Thames, the nearby nightlife can unfortunately lead to guests of the hotel indulging in the nightclub experience, and thus becoming rowdy There aren’t as many nighttime staff members as daytime, and therefore there aren’t as many to keep an eye on all guests, and there have been occasions where raucous behavior has woken up sleeping guests This is easily rectified, though By reporting the situation it is then swiftly dealt with.

Peace and quite means stuffy rooms

As with the occasional noise problem from the nearby nightlife, guests will find they will have to keep their windows closed to muffle out the sounds of merriment on the street below Unfortunately this does lead to the room become a bit stuffy If guests are only returning to their rooms later in the evening, it is recommended that they leave their windows open to circulate fresh air, and then to close the windows only once in the room.
