Dragonfly King’s Lynn is ideally situated close to the centre of King’s Lynn and only a short drive from the Norfolk coast.

Positive Reviews

Friendly staff.

The staff throughout the hotel work hard and are very efficient. They are friendly, welcoming and approachable. Housekeeping staff are diligent but unobtrusive. Staff are very flexible and it is not uncommon to find reception staff helping out in other areas of the hotel.

Good breakfast.

The hotel serves a very good English breakfast using good quality products and is cooked to a high standard. There are also various continental choices available. Evening meals have also received positive feedback from previous guests who were impressed with the variety of food on offer.

Location.

The hotel is in quite a quiet location that is very convenient, especially for those arriving by car. King’s Lynn town centre is within walking distance or just a short taxi ride away. Guests have also commented on the local nature including rabbits on the lawned areas nearby, which can be seen from some rooms.

Negative Reviews

No fried eggs.

Although the breakfast has received almost exclusively positive feedback, guests have said that an area for improvement would be to offer fried eggs with the meal as at present only scrambled eggs are included.

Lack of bedside cabinets.

A source of frustration to many previous guests has been a lack of a bedside cabinet in the room. This is a very small issue that has caused problems, for example there is nowhere to put a drink, glasses, phone or other items that you want to keep close to you.

In need of TLC.

In some areas the hotel is looking past its best. Investment needs to be made in refurbishing the venue, for example very tatty looking carpets in the public areas. There are unconfirmed reports that a refurbishment is currently underway due to a change in ownership.
