Positive Reviews

"A Jewel In The Countryside".

Apparently, the Church Farm Lodge is a preferred destination for many guests who are attending weddings at the neighbouring Kelmarsh. One recent group took over 16 rooms at the lodge and there was nary a complaint from the group. High marks were given to

A Hit With The Locals.

You know you're doing something right when your facility is a hit with the locals. Recent guests include folks who claim to live three miles down the road. The kicker is that after spending the weekend for a wedding, they plan on coming back for their own

Show Up Any Time.

Although checkout is at 10 a.m., many guests have found that the friendly staff at the lodge are happy to take care of them no matter when they arrive. There will always be someone to offer a greeting, escort you to the room and answer all your queries. T

Negative Reviews

Wonky Doors.

There is no telling what might set off a traveller. At the Church Farm Lodge, recent guests didn't care for the doors that required a "hard slam" before closing. They also didn't appreciate the lack of TV channel options.

Rudeness and Bacon Fat.

The rudeness came from a staff member who didn't want to help with calling for a taxi. The bacon fat was found on the only pair of tongues that could be used to pick up veggies. This was a problem for a strict vegetarian.

Breakfast Too Darn Early.

Many of us enjoy a sleep in while on holiday. However, if breakfast is served from 8:30 to 9:00 a.m. on a Sunday, then there is no chance of sleeping. That won't earn a star for some guests.
