Positive Reviews

Central location in Taksim

Set in Istanbul's Taksim area, guests were spoilt for choice in terms of things to do in the immediate proximity of the hotel. While the Galata Tower and Istiklal Street are nearby, many loved the convenience of having Taksim metro station directly adjacent to this hotel's front door.

Nicely presented property, good amenities

In terms of its overall appearance, this property received considerable praise for its nicely presented interiors and classy décor. In addition to its good looks, it boasted a whole range of thoughtful amenities that truly impressed guests. The enormous in-room flat-screens were highly rated, but the on-site wellness facilities also received considerable accolades.

Gorgeous views

Towering above the jumble of shops, bars, restaurants and clubs that comprise modern, bustling Taksim, this property boasts an unobstructed view of the famous Bosphorus Straits. Many enjoyed equally stunning vistas from their rooms, a point that made this property particularly memorable.

Negative Reviews

Reports of rude staff

There were consistent reports of guests receiving rude treatment from members of staff here, especially those working on the concierge desks and those in the dining areas. Many commented that staff seemed ineffective unmoved by guest problems and complaints.

Small rooms, uncomfortable beds

Most felt the rooms here are disappointingly small and on the whole, the beds were noted to be hard and uncomfortable. Many also reported issues with dirty sofas - crumbs and grime in folds were a problem - while there were also niggles with in-room air conditioning units.

Breakfast less than impressive

The breakfast selection at this luxury hotel left many guests wanting more. Judging by reviews, it does offer both European options as well as the olives, feta and tomatoes that comprise the traditional Turkish morning meal, but most felt that the offerings were lacklustre in terms of quality.
