Positive Reviews

Rooms are clean and warm

Guests say that rooms are clean and cosy during the colder months. Guests wonder if, given that this is hostel accommodation, it is reasonable to expect any more than what is provided.

They pull out all the stops for parties

According to reviews, the venue has plenty of parking and outdoor space, and with these multi-capacity accommodation units, it is an obvious venue choice for group and family breaks. Guests say these events are obviously something of a speciality, and the catering side swings into action, with the provision of impressive brunches and other meals. Visitors find both the service and catering offered make this an ideal setting.

Negative Reviews

Hidden chores and costs

Guests are disappointed to find that they have to prepare the rooms for themselves. Having to make their own beds, as they do here; and clean up after themselves, again as they do here, are aspects many travellers do not expect. There are charges too for bed linen and towels. In today’s world, guests feel that it would be preferable to incorporate these costs into the tariff, along with those for making up the beds. After a long journey, the last thing guests want is to have to make up their own bed.
