Positive Reviews

A home-like feel.

Guests have enjoyed the home-like feel of Mullacott Farm and have appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners. Rooms have been described as spacious and clean and with adequate amenities in addition to charming décor.

Delicious farm breakfast.

You will enjoy a tasty farm-style breakfast with fare right in from the fields. In general, most guest have enjoyed the farm breakfast in the barn and were pleased with the high-quality range of breakfast choices available.

Field frolicking fun.

The farm is home to a number of animals. This has been an attractive feature of staying at the bed and breakfast. Resident animals include a herd of Dexter cows, sheep, pigs, 300 chickens, 12 ducks and five alpacas – who are rumored to be quite good at defending the poultry and warding off the local fox. Guests and their children have enjoyed wandering the farm grounds and looking at the variety of animals.

Negative Reviews

A bit of a draft.

Though there were limited complaints about Mullacott Farm, a couple of people mentioned dampness or coolness in the bed and breakfast in the refurbished barn. However, as the barn is 100 years old, this kind of draftiness is to be expected.

Slightly noisy.

A few visitors reported thin walls or noisy floorboards in the barn; as the barn is 100 years old, this is expected to come with the territory.

Car required for trips to town.

As Mullacott Farm is located out in the country a bit, guests interested in leaving the grounds and exploring town should have a car available.
