Positive Reviews

Such helpful staff.

If any guests run into any problems, the staff seem to appear from nowhere and provide a solution. Whether it be arriving late back from a day out and missing last meal orders, to needing transport, the hosts and their members of staff are ready to assist in any way that they can.

Local flavor.

A really great additive to The Prince of Wales' atmosphere is that it is frequented a lot by the locals. Guests will be able to interact and learn about their surroundings from many of the regulars who so love what is on offer there.

Stylish and fresh.

After a recent upgrade, and good maintenance, each room presented to guests is delightfully clean, well managed, and ready at all times for all sorts of guests. A lot of effort goes into the maintenance, and guests will find themselves noticing, and appreciating it.

Negative Reviews

No cereal options at breakfast.

The morning meal consists only of a cooked meal. Guests who don't wish to eat a large meal so early in the day will find that they are at a loss, and will have to make a special order. Luckily, the staff are very accommodating, and are able to adapt to any needs presented by their guests.

No triple rooms.

For families travelling together, and wanting to sleep in the same room, there may not always been a room large enough to accommodate them. This can be disappointing, but if a guests isn't too bothered with being a little cramped, an extra bed can be provided and guests will have their problem sorted.

Age is beginning to show.

Although well maintained, the 120-year-old pub is beginning to show it's age. A few nooks and crannies reveal some rust and worn edges, but overall, guests shouldn't be able to notice it.
