Positive Reviews

Lovely rooms

The décor in each of the rooms is very tasteful, and many guests have noted that they were impressed by the furnishings. They said that the rooms were so comfortable that they felt like they were in a friend's house rather than a hotel.

Great place for a drink

The hotel bar and wine shop are well stocked with a huge range of drinks. You can find everything and anything behind the bar, and it's a very relaxing place to sit back and have a few after dinner drinks.

Delicious food

The food here is cooked to perfection, and although it's a bit pricey, it seems to be worth it. The dishes are very well thought out, and there are a few surprises here and there on the menu. Some guests said that the afternoon tea is excellent with some delightful scones and cakes.

Negative Reviews

Hotel a tad overpriced

It seems that this place is marketing itself as boutique in all aspects but especially so in price. You won't find another hotel in the area that is similarly priced, but that offers so little in the way of amenities. No pool or gym or anything else really.

Some staff a bit aloof

All of the people that work here do their jobs quite professionally, but not all of them are too eager to smile or get involved in a conversation. It makes for an unwelcome feel to a place that is otherwise quite pleasant.
