Positive Reviews

Room to relax and enjoy the view...

Given that space is at a premium in Hong Kong, many guests are pleased by the comfortable size of the rooms, as well as the modern decor with many thoughtful touches celebrating the area's history and culture. Few guests fail to rave about the view from the rooftop pool: don't forget your goggles, so you can enjoy the unique view of the city through its glass bottom!

Mix business with pleasure...

Travellers love the hotel's location because it is well connected to the whole of the city by the MTR and Star Ferry, both within a short walk, and the surrounding neighbourhood offers plenty of good restaurants, interesting markets, and historical attractions, such as the Old Wan Chai Post Office and the Blue House Cluster. The Hong Kong Convention Centre is also nearby.

Attentive, capable staff...

Most guests give the front desk team rave reviews for their personable and professional customer service, commenting often on their smiling faces and attention to detail. Many note that they generally offer additional assistance or information without being asked, and compliments also go to the chef on the extensive breakfast buffet.

Negative Reviews

Privacy, please...

Some guests found it necessary to keep their blinds down all of the time because the hotel is situated close to a very a tall office building.

Taxi troubles...

Several guests have been irritated to find that the hotel does not offer a shuttle and taxis are hard to get in the area. It is a fairly newly built hotel so some taxi drivers will need the exact address to find it.

Sky-high drink prices...

Some travellers are shocked by the high price of drinks in the Skybar, and a few travellers have felt that the lounge lacks atmosphere, despite the view.
