Enjoyable breakfast

Although a small number of guests have described the breakfast here as fairly basic, the majority have found the meal enjoyable. Guests have particularly liked being at one table over breakfast, finding this offered a sociable start to the day - although this won't be to everyone's tastes.

Convenient location

Negative Reviews

Carpets need deep cleaning

Although this B&B is generally found to be clean throughout, guests have mentioned that the carpets could be in a better state. These are found to be quite dirty with obvious staining. A deep clean is probably all that's needed.

Wi-Fi may prove disappointing

Previous guests have found the Wi-Fi here rather disappointing. An Internet connection is generally not available in the rooms so you may only be able to get online in the guest lounge. However, guests have generally found the Wi-Fi flakey, even in the lounge area.

Occasional disappointments

Any other disappointments at this property are fairly few and far between. A couple of guests feel that the bathrooms could do with modernisation and some mention that the windows of this historic property rattle in high winds.
