Those looking to get away from it all and reconnect with nature enjoyed this property's hilltop farm setting in the beautiful Northumberland countryside near Slaley village. Reviewers enjoyed the tranquillity, lovely views and dark skies for stargazing. Guests also had fun meeting the animals including ponies, chickens and lambs, depending on the season. Drivers welcomed the free parking and being near the B6306. Negative Reviews

Claims of drawbacks in some rooms

Critics sometimes claimed certain rooms and en suite bathrooms felt a bit small, especially when fully occupied. There were also occasional reports of weak water pressure or an unreliable hot water supply in some bathrooms.

Occasional free Wi-Fi grumbles

Although visitors appreciated the free Wi-Fi access, some critics claimed they encountered slow speeds or patchy coverage in some parts of the building.

Nuisance noises detected

Several light sleepers blamed thin walls for enabling them to occasionally hear noise from adjacent rooms rather easily. Creaky floorboards were also a source of noise at times in this period property.
