Positive Reviews

Excellent location

This hotel is ideally located in the town centre so you can bet that no matter where you want to be in Haverfordwest, that it's only a short walk away. The many pubs and restaurants in the area are all within easy walking distance.

Delicious food

The breakfasts are quite satisfying at this hotel where guests are impressed by the efforts made to keep everyone happy. Staff have been known to start work early just to help out those checking out early. The bar provides a great all day menu that is reasonably priced.

Customer focused staff

Everyone that works here is very customer oriented. They understand that their job is to make you feel at home and do their best to accommodate you in any situation. Rest assured that if they can do it, then they will.

Negative Reviews

Can get a little noisy

The floorboards at this hotel can be a little squeaky in places, and if you're unlucky to have one outside your bedroom, then people walking to and from their rooms may keep you awake at night. There's also a bit of noise that makes it through the walls.

Stuffy rooms

The rooms are incredibly warm during winter but can get very stuffy at other times of the year. Guests have complained that they couldn't turn off the heating, and some felt that opening the windows wasn't really an option.

Recent renovation still a little dated

The décor at this hotel is something of an ode to the seventies, and while some may like the style, there are other guests that feel that it makes the place look like it's never been refurbished. It's a shame as the rooms are actually quite nice.
