Positive Reviews

Ideal budget friendly base for exploring.

Harlow International Hostel is the ideal base for exploring Essex and the surrounding south east of England. Just a ten minute walk to the Harlow town centre train station where up to four trains leave for London each hour.

Great accommodation for nature lovers & cyclists.

The hostel is situated within a nature park providing plenty of hiking trails to explore the beautiful English countryside. The Sustrans National Cycle Route runs right past the hostel, making it an ideal stopover for adventure cyclists and those in train

Plenty of great activities in the area.

Harlow has many great attractions to keep all visitors happy for hours. Sports and outdoor enthusiast can enjoy the Outdoor Pursuit centre complete with a full size assault course, climbing and boat tours and hiking trails. For the non-outdoor types there

Negative Reviews

Self-catering is not everyone’s cup of tea.

Noise from the local pub can be a problem.

The local pub plays loud dance music on most nights, particularly weekend nights, which doesn’t stop until the early hours. This can naturally be of some concern for guests looking for a peaceful countryside getaway.
