Positive Reviews

Great Location

Lovely locale near the Gulf of Mexico and plenty of nearby popular attractions. The pool is a win if you brought the kids along, as is the game room.

Basic Breakfast

Daily breakfast is served as a continental buffet with toast, cereal, make-your-own waffles and juice/coffee. Decent quality, fills you up.

Pleasant Staff

Most staff are friendly and polite and do try to help guests and provide good customer service. They are significantly challenged by some of the conditions of the hotel which are out of their hands.

Negative Reviews

Weak Wi-Fi

If you really need Wi-Fi, choose elsewhere. It's very hit or miss here - mostly miss.

Charged Credit Card Twice

Be cautious with this one - people claim to have been charged twice and showed the error to the manager, but the issue was not rectified until they contacted their bank.

Shamelessly Filthy

Rooms are in extremely poor shape. Upon entry, they smell strongly of mildew and stale cigarettes - even the "non-smoking" rooms. Upon closer inspection, everything is trashed - linens are stained and worn, towels are heavily stained, bedspreads and blankets have cigarette holes burned through them, and no pillow cases are provided over the dirty pillows unless you go ask repeatedly at the front desk for them. Some guests even went out and purchased sheets and blankets at Walmart to use during their stay here. Trash, instead of gathered and thrown out, is swept under the beds and behind things in the room. Of course, this level of filth attracts insects such as bed bugs and cockroaches. Outlets and lamps don't work and several light bulbs are usually missing. Hair dryers are taped together. No shower curtain is provided in the bathrooms. ALSO: don't be surprised if someone tries to break into your room.
