Great location

Negative Reviews

Some shortcomings

Guests at the Star & Eagle pointed out that the TV is the rooms is rather small. Some guests also thought that the mattress appeared old and needed replacing. Because of the age of the building, the flooring is rather creaky, the interiors dark and quite a few stairs to navigate. Taller guests bumped their heads because of low ceilings.

Rather pricey

Some guests felt that the hotel is overpriced for the amenities offered. Some guests also thought that the restaurant was overpriced.

Can get noisy

Some guests pointed out that the traffic noise was bothersome in spite of the double glazing in rooms.
