Positive Reviews

Beautiful location for Glencoe adventuring.

The Glencoe is in a fantastic spot, surrounded by mountains, overlooking Loch Leven and close to everything in Glencoe Village. Aside from the beautiful scenery and peaceful locale, guests also found it a good spot to base themselves while exploring and h

Cheerful staff members do their best.

Although there does not seem to be many people working at the inn, those who are in charge there are cheerful, hardworking and do their best to make sure you enjoy your stay.

Good selection and tasty for it.

The breakfast and restaurant offerings at The Glencoe have been popular for good fare and selection, while the seafood restaurant next door has also gone down well.

Negative Reviews

Some say expensive for shabby rooms.

Given the price of staying, some found the rooms to be small and in poor form for the expense, with dated decor, stained flooring and carpet and general overall maintenance needed.

Small bathrooms with some issues.

Some guests also found the bathrooms to be small, with limited space for storage or hanging clothing and occasionally changeable water temperature.

Shortage of staff.

Although the staff members are very hard working and pleasant, more than a few people have noted that the inn is understaffed, often with one person trying to do everything, therefore leading to some waits for service.
