Tortoreto Beach (Tortoreto, Italy)

Tortoreto Beach extends for 4km from the town of Tortoreto in the province of Teremo to the mouth of the Salinello river. It is especially noted for its gently sloping beach, which is constructed of pale soft sand and its clean blue sea. It is popular with families and was one of the 104 Italian beaches awarded with the Blue Flag Award for cleanliness and safe bathing in 2008.
