The Scottish Game Fair (Scone, United Kingdom)

The Scottish Game Fair is held annually at the Scone Palace near Perth. The fair is organised by the Scottish Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust and is one of the largest countryside events in Scotland, attracting more than 35,000 visitors over its three day duration. The Fair combines displays, competitions, trade stands and entertainment of various types. These include gundog, fishing and shooting competitions clay pigeon shooting, archery, pipe bands, falconry, bouncy castles and giant trampolines, dog racing and demonstrations, horse and ray rides, tug-of-war, sheep shearing demonstrations and air stunt demonstrations. Shopping includes Scottish food and rink suppliers, jewellery, shrubs, plants, clothing, leather goods, footwear, arts, crafts, stoves, furniture, specialist supplies for fishing, hunting and other outdoor activities. The Fair is normally held in early July.
