Terra Natura is located adjacent to the Terra Mitica theme park on the outskirts of Benidorm. It features over 700 metres of water rides and slides plus a large swimming pool but it is primarily designed as an animal park rather than a water park. The park is divided into different regions, with each section representing a different continent. In addition to the native animals and plants in each section there are also restaurants and food outlets serving authentic dishes from that region. A train runs around the park and various shows and exhibitions take place each day. It is possible to participate in various activities like swimming with baby sharks or you can ride over the elephant enclosure on a Tarzan swing. Terra Natura has a large car parking area and is well served by public transport (Bus number 21 and 22 run from Benidorm to the entrance of Terra Mitica).
