Staithes Festival of Arts & Heritage is taking place in Staithes from September 13-14. Staithes is an old fishing village on the north east coast and some 80 cottages perched on the cliff and around the harbour will become temporary galleries for the weekend in an exhibition of art, jewelry and ceramics. When the sun sets over the sea, there will be an open-air film show, fish & chip supper at the Cod and Lobster and sea shanties from the Men of Staithes.
