The Abbey Hotel (Sheerness, United Kingdom)

Many people don't realise how lovely this isle is, and this hotel is in a prime location just a short walk from the seafront. You can take a leisurely stroll along the roads or the beach and find a few places to eat or have a drink.

The people that work behind the bar do their best to create a lively and friendly atmosphere in the lounge. They are extremely friendly and love to chat to all of the guests. You'll have no lonely drinks sitting in this bar.

The portions at the restaurant are said to be huge with many guests claiming that they almost had too much on their plate. It's a nice complaint to have made all the better by the fact that the food was delicious.

The owner of this hotel isn't the most approachable of men, and some guests have been found him to be a little lacking in the hospitality department. The rest of the staff try their best to make up for this and handle their jobs well.

This is by no means a bad hotel, but there are certain areas where you can see that it is getting a bit shabby. No matter how much the staff clean it up, there will always be places where you will see wear and tear. Some TLC would make a big difference.

This is a cheap hotel, but some guests still feel that the rooms could offer a little more in the way of comfort. The amenities are ok, but you won't be spending too much time sitting in your room when the bar is more comfortable.
