Royal Sportsman Hotel is a 3-star hotel in the Welsh seaside town of Porthmadog, on the doorstep of the Snowdonia National Park and 21.2 miles from the Snowdon Mountain Railway. This former Victorian coaching inn boasts a 2 AA Rosette restaurant, and is within five minutes of all downtown shopping, the mainline train station and Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways. All 28 rooms are non-smoking and en-suite and come standard with a flat-screen LCD TV, hairdryer, Duck Island luxury toiletries, free Wi-Fi, tea/coffee/hot chocolate supplies and a radio alarm clock. Dogs are welcome in certain rooms, secure storage and electric car charging points are available and limited free private parking is available. Guests looking for a more relaxed meal can eat in the gastropub — or in the lounge or patio garden —  and continental and cooked breakfast options are available.
