About Liotrivi Boutique Hotel & Historical Mansion

Liotrivi (oil-mill) is the mansion of the world wide known poet of Romiosini, Giannis Ritsos, in which he lived during his childhood. He used to refer to it, in his books, as the house of my grandpa. It is fully renovated and converted into a boutique hotel, with great respect to its history and tradition. It is ready to offer you high class hospitality. In the main building you can find • The traditional liotrivi , as the place used to operate as an olive press from 1930 up to 1960 and olive oil museum at the same time. • Wine cellar and wine tasting area with a great variety of wines, world wide known as Monemvasian wines. • Poetry area and library with a vast collection of Giannis Ritsos books. • Restaurant with traditional local Peloponnesian cuisine • Showroom and salesroom of traditional local products
