Lake Geneva Hotel (Geneva, Switzerland)

The promptness of the Swiss train time-tabling rated a mention in a number of reviews as the hotel is between a 15 - 20 minute train trip into Geneva city centre.  Many reviews commented that the train station is an easy walk away and that the trains can be relied upon to frequently ferry guests into the city centre.

The hotel is right on Lake Geneva and the views across the lake rated very highly across a number of reviews. Many previous guests mentioned how nice it was to be out in nature after a long day sightseeing or working in the city.

A number of people who stayed at the hotel did so as it was specifically out of the hustle and bustle of the city centre and these guests mentioned that their stay was peaceful and quiet.

A number of previous guests had a similar experience with the airport shuttle service that was organised by the hotel, with some experiencing delays, near missed flights and bad service, as shuttles turned up late or not at all.

Some visitors where not overly impressed by the decor of the rooms which many reviewers described as simple and basic. Some reviewers suggested a little more attention to some decorative elements would make the hotel more comfortable.

Some travellers found that the Wi-Fi at the hotel was a little slow for their needs, with some previous business guests commenting in their reviews that it did not help them to carry out their business tasks with ease.  Some guests also mentioned that there is a limit to the number of devices that can be connected at one time which was a source of frustration for some.
