About Wanslea Guest House
Wanslea guesthouse Ambleside is a non-smoking boutique guest house on the South side of Ambleside, 5 minutes' walk from the shore of Lake Windermere in the beautiful English Lake District. The village centre is just 7 minutes' walk away. All rooms are en-suite and have colour television, radio alarm, hairdryers, and tea/coffee making facilities, while themed Premier rooms have en-suite spa baths and wide screen TV. At Wanslea guesthouse Ambleside guests can choose from themed Premier rooms: Arabian Nights, African or Rock and Roll, conjuring up a host of possibilities. Your hosts have information and advice on walks and places to visit in this beautiful area. By arrangement guests can bring their dogs to stay. The freshly prepared and cooked breakfasts are delicious: guests can order what they want, and place a standing order or have something different each day. Beatrix Potter country and Sawrey where the authoress lived is very close.
