Guests loved being just a short walk away from the beautiful waters and pebble shores of Lapad Beach, as well as restaurants, bars and supermarkets to pick provisions up from, if you stroll in the other direction. You can easily catch a bus to the Dubrovnik Old Town if you feel like exploring within the stone walls, or even take a lovely walk there in around 40 minutes.
Vila Vala was found to offer reasonably priced and spacious budget accommodation with either a terrace or balcony to relax and dine on, old fashioned, but comfortable furnishings, and all of the facilities you need to look after yourself (apart from an oven). Guests said the apartments were kept very clean due to daily housekeeping and towel changes.
The family hosts letting the apartments are said to be very friendly, happy to help out with bookings and transfers, and lives on site if you need anything.
