About The Treasure Koh Madsum
Whilst
only a 30-minute boat ride from Ko-Samui, the secluded island resort,
The Treasure Koh Madsum, offers a tranquil, romantic getaway - far removed from
the excitement of its larger neighbour.
There are only 37 luxury en-suite villas in the resort, some with private pools or Jacuzzis and some facing the beach with panoramic views over the Gulf of Siam. All are air-conditioned with a free Minibar, flat-screen TV with cable channels and Wi-Fi.
The Treasure Koh Madsum boasts two swimming pools and a spa with professional treatments and massages.
Breakfast is included in the rate, whilst the onsite restaurant serves a wide range of western and Asian dishes.
Guests can spend their time relaxing and recharging their batteries away from all the stress of daily life. The white sandy beach, just a minute from the resort, with its crystal blue waters is ideal for a leisurely swim or snorkel.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Poorly trained staff
Guests
often feel that the vast potential of the resort is let down by the
poor quality of the staff. Although they may find them friendly, they
are exasperated by their lack of basic training and poor command of
English. These communication problems often result in undesirable
consequences, such as incorrect orders and long delays.
negative:
Very expensive services
Your bill can rapidly escalate, staying at this resort. Guests say everything is two or three times more expensive than on Ko-Samui including the food, drink and spa. As there is nothing else on the island you're not left with any choice either! Even if you decide to take a trip to the “big island” by boat, even that costs.
negative:
A load of rubbish
Behind the crystal clean facade of this luxury resort and paradise island hides a not so idyllic truth that guests often come face to face with. The sea regularly washes up plastic bottles and waste onto the beaches and there is a huge rubbish tip right behind the hotel.
