The Colony

The Colony offers retro-style cottages and motel accommodations with views of gorgeous Frenchman's Bay. Cottage-style and motel-style accommodations are available. All are en suite. Cottages come with TVs, telephone, and air conditioning, as well as a front porch. Motel units are en suite and come with a mini-fridge. Pet-friendly cottages are available. Guests of The Colony have access to the hotel's outdoor, heated pool as well as a pleasure garden. The beach located directly across the street is owned by this hotel and guests can enjoy searching for treasures along the rocky beach. Free self-parking is available. This hotel does not offer a breakfast or restaurant, however, there are many restaurants in nearby Bar Harbor including Fathom, The Chart Room, and Havana. Acadia National Park is less than a five-minute drive from this hotel. Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf is just over one mile away, while the Bar Harbor Whale Museum is less than three miles away.
