Guests were impressed by the views of the lake particularly from the lounge and breakfast room. To add to the experience, many say there's a great selection at breakfast that's perfectly cooked and presented..some say it's the best breakfast they ever had.

Sawrey House Hotel maybe set in a quiet village but it doesn't mean there's lack of activities. Hill Top Farm is literally doors away from this accommodation...or you could have a short walk and take in the picturesque surroundings.

Nothing's too much trouble for the staff at this regal hotel to make your stay very comfortable. If you need to check out early in the morning, they will even prepare breakfast for you to takeaway.

Although the spacious rooms were reported to be clean and tidy, past visitors were disappointed by the appearance of the bathroom as mould was very visible on the tiles, shower and around the taps.

It's a long wait to receive your breakfast, according to guests. While some reviewers cannot fault the quality of meals, others disagree stating the dishes served were below par and was therefore not great value for money.

Apart from the very hard mattress, that's really it. With great views, great rooms, scrupulous food and Hill Top Farm as its neighbour, the Sawrey House Hotel would make a very relaxing stay. Overall, it's really great value for money.
