Hotel Sari Konak

Sari Konak Hotel is located in the heart of the historic Sultanahmet quarter of Istanbul. This small family run hotel blends well with the old buildings in the area as it was once an Ottoman mansion before becoming a hotel in 1996. The hotels interior has been designed and furnished with many traditional Turkish features. The lobby has a 24 hour reception where guests can make use of the currency exchange, safe deposit box for valuables, car rental, laundry service, a computer with wireless internet is available, airport transfers can be arranged against charges and help is on hand with what to do and where to go in Istanbul. There is a choice of rooms available including standard, superior, deluxe rooms and suites. Standard amenities include air-conditioning, telephone, television with satellite channels and en-suite bathrooms with bath or shower and hairdryer. Breakfast buffet is complimentary. Smoking inside the hotel is not permitted. There are 2 outdoor areas one is a roof terrace with cafe and offers views of the Blue Mosque and the Marmara sea, the other is the planted walled courtyard which dates back to the Byzantine era.
