Paradisus by Meliá Fuerteventura

The four-star Meliá Gorriones Hotel is situated on the peninsula of Jandia in the south area of the island of Fuerteventura, Spain. The hotel is located on the beach of Sotavento in natural surroundings classified as a protected natural area. The beach in front of the hotel has a length of about 30 kilometers. The airport is 80 kilometers away and the nearest town Costa Calma with shops is located at about four kilometers. The hotel provides 562 rooms spread over five buildings. 418 of the rooms are in the main building while the other 144 are spread in 4 smaller buildings called the Casas del Mar. All of the rooms are equipped with air conditioning, plasma TV, direct dial telephone, refrigerator, safe, desk, sofa bed, private bathroom with bath, shower and hairdryer. The water sport enthusiasts will find windsurfing and kitesurfing centres. The Pro Center René Eglí offers equipment and lessons for beginners and advanced fans of surfing. Also a diving school is available on site. The hotel features an observatory, where you can study the planets and the stars. There are four swimming pools, one with salt water and a Spa centre.
