Hotel Ocean Beach (Grand Baie, Mauritius)

Guests loved the fact that Ocean Beach & Spa is located on a private beach. In fact, some of the rooms are only a few metres from the beach, which allowed guests to head right out their doors in the morning to enjoy the sunshine.

The staff at this property is very happy to help guests find whatever they need throughout their stay. Most guests appreciated the work that the staff puts in at this hotel.

Many guests commented on how large and clean the hotel rooms are at this property. The villas rooms, in particular, are relatively new and give guests a comfortable and luxurious place to retire to at night.

Some of the rooms aren't easy to reach from reception or the restaurant. This led to some complaints from guests, as they found it difficult to carry their luggage to these locations. The garden view rooms, however, are very easy to reach from most parts of the hotel.

While some guests loved the food at Ocean Beach & Spa, others found it to be bland and lacking in variety. The breakfast is the same every day and the same can be said for the dinner buffet, so you might get tired of eating at the hotel if you stay for a lengthy period.

Although this property is located right on the beach, the water there isn't the best for swimming. There is another beach within walking distance, however, that provides a much better area if you are planning to spend some time in the water.
