Positive Reviews
positive:
Great location overlooking the beach
It was definitely the location that most impressed guests about Miraya. It was described as having direct views to the nearby beach, and since the beach was the main reason guests had come to Torre Del Mar, they were very happy to have it so nearby.
positive:
Very friendly and helpful staff
Again and again guests mentioned just how wonderful the staff were. It was very hard indeed to find a harsh word spoken about them. Guests most liked that they were friendly, and always willing to help them with their query or issue.
positive:
Free parking
A couple of motorists mentioned that the parking right in front of the hotel was, surprisingly, free of charge. Though it can obviously not be guaranteed, they said they never really had any problem finding a spot when returning from their travels.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Problems with hot water
There were a number of guests who had a problem with their hot water supply. It seemed that at times, especially the mornings, there simply wasn't any hot water. It may be that the hot water system works on a timer, or perhaps during busy times it is depleted quickly, but whatever the reason it left guests unable to take a shower.
negative:
No in-room tea or coffee making facilities
Considering the number of British visitors to this part of Spain, guests were surprised to find no tea or coffee making facilities in their rooms. They really seemed to miss the convenience of making a quick cuppa with no fuss when the mood stuck them.
negative:
Beds uncomfortable
Because of differences in taste, there are always at least a few complaints about bed comfort. In this case, however, there were a bit too many, and it seems that the beds, and especially pillows, may indeed be uncomfortable.
