Hotel Leasowe Castle (Liverpool, United Kingdom)

There are no shortage of photo opportunities to be had at Leasowe Castle. Guests described the 16th castle itself as simply stunning. It is surrounded by picturesque scenery. There’s plenty of tress and wildlife to observe. Many of the rooms feature a view of the sea, which is just a short walk from the castle.

Guests were very happy with the breakfast served at the hotel. Everything is prepared fresh and served piping hot. They were quite happy with the selection of items, and with the friendly staff serving it.

Guests were very happy with the cleanliness of the rooms they stayed in. It was clear to them that the housekeeping staff does a very through job.

Guests generally couldn’t find much fault with their accommodations. They did not think the rooms were bad, but they also just didn’t think they were that good either. Many felt that for them amount of money they paid they should receive something better, or that similarly priced hotels in the area are much nicer. Others pointed out that what guests are really paying for is the view, which is, arguably, worth it.

A few people were dissatisfied with the general atheistic of the hotel. The furniture and decorations are 1970’s reminiscent, with many expressing this is probably because they haven’t been updated since the 1970’s. Many reviews expressed the hope that new furnishing may be on the horizon soon.

Many guests noticed that the hotel is starting to look a bit tired in places. They complained of issues such as fraying carpets, peeling or chipped paint, loose fixtures, and dents in the moulding.
