Hotel La Rocchetta (Ferrara, Italy)

La Rochetta dates back to the year 1760. it started out at as a barn situated on the banks of the Marrara river valley, at the mouth of the first right flanking tributary of the Po river, called the Primaro Po. Over the years it became a farm. The La Rochetta Farmhouse opened its doors in the year 2000 thanks to the owners' wish to propose a return to nature and tradition, to the culture of our grandfathers and the natural rhythm of the seasons, in a world that is quickly losing touch with its environment. This desire to rekindle emotions and return to the simple pleasures of living is not meant as a nostalgic trip into the past but as a comprehensive effort to recover and highlight the complexities of our history, with the farmhouse as a bridge linking the past with future.
