About Jumeirah Burj Al Arab Dubai

This is a luxury hotel set on the seafront of Dubai and is part of the Jumeirah group of luxury hotels. Opened in 1999, it is a visually striking building with its 321m high tower in the shape of a sail. It is built on an artificial island and is connected to the mainland by a private bridge. The level of luxury and service provided has led it to claim to be the world's only 7 star hotel. The all-suite accommodation is in 202 suites over 28 double-storey floors, all rooms have a sea-view. Amenities include a chauffeur-driven Rolls Royce, trained butlers, laptops with wireless internet access, full service spa and gymnasium with personal trainers and limousine or helicopter airport transfer. There are 9 restaurants and bars, including one suspended 200m above the sea, and another reached by a simulated submarine voyage. The restaurants and chefs have won a series of awards. Its location makes it ideal for water sports. It has a private beach and offers complimentary access to the nearby Wild Wadi Water Park. It is one of the most expensive hotels in the world with suites from around £1000 per night.
