About Grand Hôtel des Alpes

The Grand Hotel des Alpes in steeped in Chamonix’s history, dating back to the 1840’s when it was first built in the centre of the city. Elegant rooms feature modern amenities including free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, DVD player, in-room safe and minibar. The Old Tower suite and Mont Blanc suite include additional luxury touches including a private balcony. Guest have exclusive use of the heated indoor pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi and the hotel also has a range of meeting spaces to cater to the needs of business travellers. Breakfast is served daily and in the winter, an afternoon tea is provided with an aperitif buffet is complimentary.  For other meals there are a number of restaurants and bars on the hotels' doorstep. The Grand Hotel des Alpes is short walk to the Aiguille du Midi cable cable car and the free ski shuttles are less than a five minute walk from the hotel.
