Known as much for its restaurant as its accommodation, Gleeson’s Townhouse offers both modern and classical accommodation for those looking to tour the midlands and the west of Ireland. Rooms have either classical or modern décor, and feature en-suite bathrooms, flat screen TV’s, tea/coffee stations, hairdryers and telephones. There is off-street parking, and Wi-Fi is free and available throughout the property. A full cooked breakfast is available every morning. Other meals can be enjoyed in the well regarded on-site restaurant, which specialises in hearty Irish food and hospitality. The in-house Lamb Stew is a particular favourite. Gleeson’s does its utmost to source local and organic ingredients wherever possible. Gleeson’s is right at the centre of Roscommon, and its dramatic castle is barely 600 yards away.
