Hotel Emblemático Casa Casilda is in the land of vineyards, this small hotel in a magnificent home of great heritage value, located in the old town of Tacoronte, north of the island, 15 minutes from the capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Puerto de la Cruz . The building dates from the 18th century and was inaugurated as a guest house in 2015, maintaining its typical essence of a Canarian rural house. The 5 double rooms are all different, some with large windows that overlook a beautiful garden, and others on the first floor of the classic house, all with a private bathroom. They are quite spacious, they do not have television but they do have free WIFI connection. The gardens are to be lost with leafy trees and a variety of native plants, where to find the ideal corner to read, or just close your eyes and let go. Hotel Emblemático Casa Casilda is really an authentic place, which distances itself from the image that Tenerife often brings, from mass tourism and plasticizing, here this is not the case, of course. Having experienced various uses and modifications over three centuries, it was acquired and restored as a family home in 1980 and transformed in Rural Hotel in 2015. The unique building acquired its iconic character in 1860, when it housed the famous antique cabinet anthropological and archaeological of the Canary Islands, known as "Casilda Museum".
