The Bistro is VERY popular and in other hands, service would suffer at very busy times. They thrive on it here though; the busier the better. Everyone gets served and everyone enjoys the occasion; including, it seems, the hard-working staff.

Particularly during the summer, you need to book your Bistro table in advance. Otherwise, at best, you are likely to find yourself eating in the already packed out bar.
The rooms don't have much, if any, soundproofing; so noise can be a problem when trying to sleep. It's surprising that, in this idyllic setting, other guests roll back noisily in the early hours.
The food is OK but, somehow, you expect something better than what is delivered. Prepare to be disappointed. When they're busy-which is quite often- there are delays in getting seated and then things go missing from the order. Breakfast, on the other hand, is fine and spoilt only by the self-service coffee machine which is frankly ‘naff'.
