About The Moelwyn
Moelwyn, originally a pair of Victorian townhouses, offers inn accommodation in the coastal resort of Criccieth, on the North Wales Coast. Criccieth Beach is just a two-minute walk away, Criccieth Castle five minutes away and Porthmadog, Portmeirion and Black Rock Sands are all within a 17-minute drive. The seven rooms are individually furnished according to the period, have mountain and/or sea views, en-suite bath or shower, free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. Free parking is available for guests and the inn is a smoke-free facility. Breakfast in the dining room looks over the water, and Moelwyn’s restaurant has an enviable reputation for quality cuisine and views. The inn is perfectly located for coastal and hill walks, is almost on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park and is 16 miles from Snowdon Mountain itself.
